Research Project

Currently, Anran works as a Research Associate on two studies of youth at risk for development of substance use involvement: Consequences of Adolescent Substance Use on the Development of Impulse Control (R01-DA026868) and Relating Brain Maturation to Impulse Control and Substance Use Involvement (R01-DA033997).

Before joining the NRLC, Anran worked with Dr. Kevin McIntyre at Trinity University on studies of judgment and embodied cognition. Besides his work in psychology, Anran also has pursued interests in economics, having studied abroad at the London School of Economics and interned with the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.

After the NRLC

Anran returned to China to pursue his graduate education.
