Biographical Sketch
Marissa is a Patient Services Representative-Associate at the NRLC working in the CAMBIO clinic, a substance use treatment program for adolescents.
Prior to working at NRLC, she was a Behavioral Therapist at Behavioral Innovations working with children diagnosed on the spectrum of Autism. There Marissa facilitated patient development of verbal and social skills, as well as academics through various behavior programs.
Marissa obtained her Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). During her time at UTSA, she completed her Master’s Thesis on “Client Dropout: Diagnostic Variables”; focusing on the rates and timing of drop out from mental health facilities as related to psychological diagnoses, client demographics, and symptom severity of diagnosis.
