Biographical Sketch
Sanjuana is a Health Educator in the Department of Psychiatry at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) in the Neurobehavioral Research Laboratory and Clinic (NRLC).
Priorto the NRLC, she worked as a graduate assistant focusing on health literacy to teach young adults who are mentally and physical disabled in topics such as nutrition, stress management, medication management and physical fitness at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio/Providence Place.
Besides research, she has volunteered for the past 3 years in numerous organizations around San Antonio focusing on Health Education.
