Biographical Sketch
Currently, David works as a Research Associate on the NRLC projects Alcohol Binging: Disruptions in Impulse Control and 5-HT as
Underlying Mechanisms (R01-AA018124) and
Binge Drinking: Individual Differences in Capacity to Alter Drinking Patterns
(R01-AA014988). David is receiving intensive training in human alcohol research as part of a NIAAA Research Supplement
to Promote Diversity in Health-Related Research.
Before joining the NRLC, David completed an independent study with Dr. E. Fernandez of UTSA on a project studying the psychometric assessment of anger experience and expression. David has been an active member of the Pre-Medical Society at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
